Qingpu EPZ held the first representative congress of labor union and the whole staff meeting

       The first representative congress of labor union and the staff meeting of Qingpu EPZ was held on the afternoon of 28^th .Augu. The meeting elected the first committee chairman , committee members and the fund censor. 《collective agreement》(draft)、《pay agreement》(draft) and 《agreement on special interests for female workers》(draft) were examined and approved at the first session.  Wu Ping , Yang Qingming andDdai Fenglian were elected as the members of the first committee , and Wu Ping was elected as the chairman, Jiang Yonghua was elected as the fund censor.

     Wu Ping, the newly-elected chairman of the first labor union committee ,talked about her working style and target for the future and put forward some ideas such as to strengthen the basic function of labor union ;to protect workers’ legal rights and interests more and more; to provide better and practical services for staff; to help poverty- stricken workers overcome their troubles; to strengthen the communication between the party leadership and the labor union ; to provide more comprehensive democracy information for the party and government ‘s decision .

   Li lian , the labor union chairman of Qingpu industrial group ，expressed the warm greetings to the establishment of EPZ labor union and put forward three requirements : fully play the role of labor union in helping workers and supervising the leadership ; regularly hold meetings to solve the practical problems ; successfully develop the labor union as a “staff family” which focuses on the interests of staff, provide actual services and solve practical problems staff concerned; quickly realize and solve new problems; take active measures in perfecting the labor union committee ;actively guide workers to plunge into EPZ’s construction and development; encourage the spirit of giving first, overall interests first; carry forward the glorious traditions of hardworking ,selfless dedication ,unity and mutual assistance ; offer proposals and suggestions to the company and so on.

  Zhang Hongzhou and Xu Nong, deputy managers of EPZ, expressed warm greetings to the success opening. Zhang Hongzhou , first fully affirmed the tremendous achievements of the past 3 years and also noted the great pressure we now facing. He encouraged the staff to create a successful EPZ with their wisdom, hard-working and so on.
