EPZ and Schlumberger signed an investment for second
phrase item in Qingpu
Schlumberger, a world top 500 company,
successfully signed an investment for second phrase item
with Qingpu Export Processing Zone, Shanghai, on Oct. 10th,
2006. This symbolized that a producing base of
Schlumberger in Qingpu was preliminary taking form.
Adding to this item, the direct investment of
Schlumberger in Qingpu has reached $US 8.5 M and the
total $US 17M.at present,the first phrase project has
put into production and its export will be $US 50M. The
second phrase project is under construction now. It is
estimated that the export will exceed $US 100M per year
after both projects are completed.
